Brief Resume

Daniel Ortiz-Arroyo graduated with a PhD in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Oregon State University in USA. He holds a  MSc in Computer Science from the Instituto Nacional de Astrofisica Optica y Electronica in Mexico.

Before joining Aalborg University Esbjerg, he was Director of Software Development for Robust Decisions Inc., in Corvallis Oregon, USA. Previously he worked as a software developer for Camas Inc..  He also did consulting on software systems development for several Mexican companies .

Within academy he was Instructor/Research Associate in the Department of Electronics, in the Instituto Nacional de Astrofisica Optica y Electronica (INAOE) and research associate in the the Department of Microcomputer Applications, Sciences Institute of the Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla (BUAP), Mexico.

He has lectured at graduate/undergraduate levels in the following universities in Europe and USA:

•     Aalborg University Esbjerg, Denmark
•     Oregon State University, USA

and in Mexico:   

•     Universidad Veracruzana, Xalapa
